Scale: 1:110
Length: 372 mm
Wingspan: 291 mm

One of the most famous vessels in maritime history is the HMS Bounty, a sailing ship that became known for the bold mutiny that took place on board. In 1787 Captain William Bligh was ordered by King George III to bring bread-fruit trees from Tahiti to the West Indies in the Bounty. Captain Bligh ruled with an iron hand and continually reduced the rations of his crew. On 28th April 1789 the famous mutiny occurred. Bligh and 18 of his henchmen were set adrift in a boat but, after a veritable odyssey of a voyage, succeeded in making their way back to England. The rest of the crew decided to remain in the region and settled on Pitcairn Island, far from the shipping routes. To prevent discovery, the Bounty was ultimately burned by her former crew in 1790.

Revell: Trabant 601s 1/24

Overview
Skill level: 3
Scale: 1:24
Length: 149 mm
Parts: 138

Description

The Trabant 601, the third and most built model of the Trabant range, was made from 1964 onwards at the VEB Sachsenring Automobilwerke Zwickau. Its external appearance had the trapezium shape that was customary at the beginning of the 60s. For the body shell Duroplast was used, a material based on plastic and cotton. The 601 was powered by an air-cooled two-cylinder two-stroke engine, with an unmistakably noisy gear shift, which is as easy to see under the opening bonnet of the model as the crook-handled gear stick in the interior. To begin with the air-cooled engine offered 23 hp which was increased to 26 in 1969. Witha total build of over 2.8 million, this Trabant 601, which was produced with only minor modifications until 1990, was the mass-produced people's car of the former GDR.

Revell: German motorcycle R-12 with sidecar 1/35

Overview
Skill level: 4
Scale: 1:35
Length: 65 mm
Parts: 133
Description
Between 1935 and 1942 about 36,000 of the R-12 were built. The majority of these came out of the works in the military version. The German Army often equipped the R-12 with a sidecar and an MG 34. Used by special motorcycle riflemen units, these combinations penetrated the enemy front and advanced deep into the hinterland. 133 components make a detailed reproduction of the standard German Army motorcycle and sidecar combination. This model kit gives two optional versions equipped with either two soldiers or one soldier and a pig. In addition to the engine and the spoked wheel, the MG 34 is also authentically represented.
